Bianca Borell knows how to write a dark romance that not only hooks you but gives you characters you can’t let go of once you’ve reached the end. The struggles and challenges Abigail and Dane had to fight and endure were not easy at all. And you can’t help but feel for them as they go through it all. Once they reach their HEA, things fall into place for them and they are able to receive the closure they needed while also closing a chapter that needed to be burned to ashes. This is an amazing second book to the series and I can’t wait for what else Bianca has in store for us. Regardless, I’ll be here for it all. ...more

They hit some bumps on their journey, they put you on edge of your seat near the end there but as things work out as they should, Coraline realizes she’s completely and truly fallen in love with Jasper. I will say that their chemistry creates a steam that will require a fan, especially when you reach Chapter 53. It’ll have you melting and needing a fan full blast. This is when she meets Nevada and when she drops him on his butt it’s like he instantly falls for her. He does t care that she’s older than him by 6 yrs. The banter between them is top notch good and hilarious. The creative names he comes up with to call her had me laughing. Star tries to fight falling for him but Nevada makes it so hard for her to do that. They may be my new favorite couple of the series. The chemistry between them creates steamy scenes that will require more than just a fan. Mackenzy gives us a journey that will have you in all the feels and give you a HEA that has things falling as they should for the characters. Carter and Daisy do not get along but after a close call with laxative brownies they call a truce. They try to be friends but after one night where they put the hate away, they realize there’s feelings there. It’s not all easy for them and there’s some bumps in the road but after things are brought into perspective, they make it to their HEA. We’re treated to some steamy scenes, angst and of course the feels that will have you wanting to yell at the characters. Overall I truly enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading more of Jennifer’s books...more
