Things happen and on their journey through not only their mutual grief but also towards their HEA they didn’t think they deserved. They help each other heal from their pain and their loss. Charlie lost not only a friend but the person he felt was the love of his life and Autumn lost her best friend. As they work through their past pain and begin to build something without realizing, things are revealed that change the circumstances of the accident and the kind of relationship Autumn had with her then boyfriend. Natasha not only gives us an emotional story that guts you but she puts you back together in such a way that these characters will be with you rent free not just in your mind but in your heart as well. I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read by Natasha but I have to say that this one is my top favorite to date. I was instantly hooked and did not want it to end. I loved this short story from start to finish. I loved how it brought all the characters together and all the different POV’s that we get. The way we I loved this short story from start to finish. The way we get both Emily and Zook’s POV’s about how things ended, where Zook’s mindset was at and his reasoning for what happened when he crushed her heart and how Emily felt then and now. I devoured this and just refused to put it down. I can’t wait for more in this series and see what J. Wine has in store for us. ...more

The emotional rollercoaster you’re taken on will keep you on the edge of your seat full of emotions for them as this unknown connection brings them closer, not letting the other go, throw in this adorable little boy that just steals your heart the first time you meet him will keep you hooked. River and Charleigh both have secrets and a not so good past, only that Charleigh is still running from her past. River wants to be the one she runs to for help. Things happen and you’re taken on a nose dive of a twist that I was definitely not expecting. Things fall into place for them and they’re able to reach their HEA with their curly haired little boy that stole their hearts. I took my time reading their story because I wanted to soak in everything. I normally just devour everything Amy throws out because it’s so good. And I’m glad I did because this story just hit me straight in the chest with all the feels. It’s an amazing beginning to a new series that will without a doubt be a series you will want on your shelf. I can’t wait to have this book on my shelf and will be patiently, not so patiently waiting on the next book. ...more
