backman does more than just tapping into the human experience. he traps us into the experience of these characters, and recognizing our own human experience. he writes life so beautifully, the good and the bad, you cannot help but be mesmerized by his writing and taking a look at your own life.
these folks from beartown and hed will always stick with me. from the love, the fighting, the tragic loss, the laughs, and the amazing and unexpected friendships, this trilogy was one for the ages. i will never forget these characters ...more

this book was amazing. 10/10! chefs kiss, would actually read again! i am amazed! this book truly was everything you want in a ya fantasy and i love it so so much.
