I really enjoyed the plot and LOVEDDDD the dragons!! britt-marie was first introduced in backman’s novel, my grandmother asked me to tell you she’s sorry, and at first, I found her incredibly annoying! ubritt-marie was first introduced in backman’s novel, my grandmother asked me to tell you she’s sorry, and at first, I found her incredibly annoying! until I got to truly know her, and now I love and understand her so well. and she could never annoy me now!!!!! britt-marie being 63 years old and just completely changing her life around was just so inspiring. watching britt-marie go from hating soccer to coaching a soccer team of kids who’s life is this sport and then her even falling in love with it was so so special.. the part that especially got me so emotional was britt-marie finding people that love her and finding people that she would come to love as well and truly marking her place in the world. I think this book had an amazing way of showing that no matter what you think, you can always change your life around and make it into something truly special while surrounding yourself with people who make you feel special and you, them. I absolutely adored the characters and the small town of Borg, as well as the story and everything britt-marie and this book represented. i truly feel like this book hugged me and told me all was gonna be okay....more

shep and thea had layers and I just felt for these characters so much. I adored getting to know these two and seeing these two fall in love. thea is not someone who trusts very easily because of her past while shep is someone who constantly worries for others because he basically has a fear of his loved ones being hurt and not being there for them. shep getting over this fear and Thea also overcoming her sense of distrust towards others just left me in awe. being able to break down those walls and build up feeling strong and secure again was just amazing to witness. Shep and thea deserve the absolute best and I just love them so so much...more
