Both the first book part and the 1951 part, what with the 1950s sexism, the nuclear wasteland that is future Earth, and a part at the very end I won't spoil. But you can see the future Asimov in there. Really, it's a testament to the advice to keep writing. Your first book may be so-so, but if you don't stop writing, you might create some amazing science fiction. I loved his robot books as a teenager. There is also a fair amount of actual science in this book, which often went over my head but might be enjoyable for some readers....more
