The second book doesn’t necessarily have as much action as the first and we get to see the relationships growing. This book has a few surprising twists that definitely adds to the mystery that surrounds it all. I will say I was a bit disappointed as there were a couple questions that were not displayed to us. This was my first book by Lily Wildhart and call me very impressed. This story while it doesn’t have a ton of action, the drama that is in the story definitely keeps you glued to it. We see Quinn going through so much in this story. The trauma she has endured just breaks your heart. It is extremely well written and developed. I am absolutely loving this series. This story is a slightly quicker read but I am not completely sure if it was because I couldn’t put it down. It has a mystery that needs to be solved, a ghost that just completely adds to the mystery and oh so much drama on top of it all. The story is extremely well written and developed. It has betrayals and lies woven throughout it. Pippin is the incredible FMC that quickly draws into loving her personality and strength. She endured so much since her father passed. Then we meet the Dragon Riders. Ged, Soren, Brom, and Flynn. These four steal your heart from the very first meeting. They have amazing personalities that are felt throughout the story. I love how protective and gentlemanly to Pippin. The story takes a drastic turn as we near the end of the first book. Of course as with all of Sam Hall’s books it is extremely well written and developed.
Dragon Fight There is so much going in this second book. We have so much drama, lies and betrayals. We have relationships growing closer. New characters that are added to the mix. All the while Pippin, Glimmer, the mates are trying to navigate through it all. The second book keeps you glued to it as it has so much action. It is extremely well written and developed. I will say there are more sensual scenes at times that are oddly placed but that does not stop the story from being really enjoyable. The ending of the second book really takes a turn that is honestly extremely shocking.

We see her overcoming so many obstacles as she learns to regain her sense of self. The guys all have unique personalities that each gives as much as they receive. The story had me on the edge of my seat with anticipation. I loved the mystery that is involved with the story and added to that the drama that they all experience. This was my first book by Kerry Taylor and I really enjoyed it greatly. I will say that there are quite a few grammatical errors during this but by the story being so amazing they are easily overlooked. I have heard from other readers that as Kerry Taylor’s stories continue so does the writing. I absolutely can’t wait to see that as well. This book continues into a second one as not so much as a cliffhanger but more of a continuation. This was definitely a fantastic story that is absolutely a must read....more

This was my first book by J Rose and goodness was I impressed. The story is extremely well written and developed. It pulled me in from the very beginning. It is dark and has moments that truly show that there are evils in our world. Ember is one that is feisty and a survivor of a lot of things. I love her fierceness that she portrays throughout the story. At times she lets her emotions rule and this can cause a few issues during the story. We then have Warren, Hyland, and Axel. These three have amazing personalities. I love Axel and his playfulness at times. His antics break up the darker parts and gives the story a bit of light. Then we have Blaine who is a mystery that needs to be explored. The story ends in a pretty big cliffhanger and I am really excited to see what happens next....more

We meet up with Meira and she is taken into custody and has no idea why. No one answers her questions and just leaves her the dark about everything. I really liked Meira and her personality. She is sweet and kind as well as seems to care with her whole heart. We meet a lot of interesting side characters where some are ok but others not so much. It has a lot of drama, suspense, with a bit of action and humor. It is a quick read but quickly draws you in and keeps you glued to it. I honestly couldn’t put it down.
