This book was a first of its kind for me, so I might be biased to say that everyone interested in quantum with minimum knowledge most read this book to understand the current position in that field.
All the fuss about creating a powerful computer that could break all the current cyber security we have, is still a hypothesis, that may or may not happen in reality due to the underdeveloped hardware.
It is a very exciting field, that could be a huge change during our lifetime, and I’m all in to see its development and might as well contribute to it once I officially join the tech industry!

Very well written novel, so beautiful I couldn’t stop myself from sliding into it so smoothly and elegantly.
I never thought of that kind of love as romantic, I rather felt petrified by the idea of loving and being loved by someone who’s not mine, and fully in my life. Let alone the stories of lovers who kept on loving each others even when life separated them for good.
Each character of this book is so vivid, I can’t help but sympathies with them. Even the “villains� I’m trying to excuse them, and forgive them.
“� time is not linear but circular. There is no past, present, future. […] The past was always there, lurking in the corners, winking at you when you thought you’d moved on, hanging on to your organs from the inside.�
Is life really an inevitable defeat? I hope if the answer is yes, that I never find it out....more

Absolutely amazing and heart warming. I can’t believe that I finished it in four days only! The fact that it was covering a very short period of time, with extensive details pulled me into it tighter and tighter as I went further in it.
The support and love which was the essence of all the bonds between the characters was so promising for hope, for more out of this life.
I kept seeing familiarity in the midst of the differences in this story, and I’m so grateful for my friend who recommended it to me. Whi recommended me this one, and the one I read before it “The Stationery Shop�....more
الكتاب كان توصية صديق، ولم أتوقع منه الكثير. لكني انبهرت بالشخصيات التي عرفها الكاتب وقص عنها في الجزء الثاني "من حياتي".
أما عن القصص القصيرة في النصالكتاب كان توصية صديق، ولم أتوقع منه الكثير. لكني انبهرت بالشخصيات التي عرفها الكاتب وقص عنها في الجزء الثاني "من حياتي".
أما عن القصص القصيرة في النصف الأول من الكتاب، بدأت بشكلٍ لم يجذبني تمامًا، ثم انغمست فيها وفي أسلوب الكاتب. كثير من القصص ترك فيَّ أثرًا كبيرًا، وجعلني أتفكر حقًا في مدى تشابه الخيال بالواقع.
أبرز ما أزعجني هو الأخطاء الاملائية الكثيرة والمتكررة، منها على سبيل المثال لا الحصر ى بدلًا من ي. ثم هناك الأخطاء التي يستعصي معها فهم الكلمة إلا بعد فك تشفيرها ومعرفة الحرف الذي سقط سهوًا أو الذي تغير بآخر.
كيف للتاريخ أن يُختزل في بضع صفحات وعائلة هكذا؟! ذكرتني قليلًا برواية مئة عام من العزلة.
أعجبني في نجيب محفوظ تحفظه وتلميحاته المهذبة لكل ما هو غير مهكيف للتاريخ أن يُختزل في بضع صفحات وعائلة هكذا؟! ذكرتني قليلًا برواية مئة عام من العزلة.
أعجبني في نجيب محفوظ تحفظه وتلميحاته المهذبة لكل ما هو غير مهذب. وحيث أن الأحداث دارت في فترة مقاربة لفترة أحداث شقة الحرية، فلم أجد من بد على مقارنة الروايتيّن والأديبين ببعض؛ فلاحظت الاختلاف الواضح بين غازي القصيبي الفج في وصفه، ونجيب محفوظ المراعي لجمهوره وثقافته. هذا لا يقلل من إعجابي لأحدهما على حساب الآخر، رحمهما الله.
أما الرواية وأحداثها وشخصياتها، فمالي إلا العجب. عن حياة عائلة عادية في مصر، وما تصير إليه مع التقلبات السياسية والاقتصادية والثقافية أنذاك....more

Well, it was sweet and short, with nice stuff and exercises, but I already know almost everything. Typical self help book, but still worth reading.
The writer himself sounds like the kind of person who believes that what he’s doing is the greatest, but I had a since that he might not be the type of novelist I would read for. The language wasn’t sharp, the grammar is okay, and punctuation was missed up.. All of that made it an easy book -sometimes- but I don’t think it’s amazing to write multiple books like that in a year.
In short, without receiving it as a gift, I wouldn’t even knew such a book existed :)...more
اللهم أجرنا من نار جهنم، اللهم أجرنا من نار جهنم، اللهم أجرنا من نار جهنم. إذا كان هذا عذاب المخلوقات، وبالكاد استحملت قراءته، فكيف بعذاب الخالق القهااللهم أجرنا من نار جهنم، اللهم أجرنا من نار جهنم، اللهم أجرنا من نار جهنم. إذا كان هذا عذاب المخلوقات، وبالكاد استحملت قراءته، فكيف بعذاب الخالق القهار المذل؟!! بينما لهؤلاء المخلوقات الحقيرة ما لنا وعليهم ما علينا، وليس بيدهم إحياء الموتى أو تسريع شفاء المرضى، بقي عذابهم لا يطاق. كلما ظننت أن الأمر وصل مداه في السوء، زاد الطغيان، والظلم، والقهر. كان للمساجين فسحة من الراحة تمتد لأسابيع في حال الدخول في غيبوبة وحتى يستردون وعيهم، ولكن في نار جهنم -حيث سيكون مثوى هؤلاء الظالمين إن شاء الله، وإن لم يتوبوا- سيُبدل الله جلودهم الناضجة بلجودٍ أخرى، وسيكون العذاب أبديًا لا خلاص فيه، والموت ليس سوى أمنية مستحيلة.. عشت في هذه الأحداث، وتجرعت جزءً من مرارة عصية على الخيال مما ذاقوه، ورغم بُعدي مكانيًا وزمانيًا عنها، إلا أنني ابتلعت الغصة وراء الغصة حزنًا وألمًا. رحم الله من مات منهم، ومن عاش، وأجارنا وإياهم من نار جهنم.
أما عن الرواية بشكلها الأدبي، فكانت بديعة لأبعد الحدود. عذبة اللغة والوصف، رغم بشاعة الموصوف، وألفاظ السجانين. كانت إمتدادًا طبيعيًا وسلسًا بعد الرواية التي سبقتها -شقة الحرية- حيث دخلت مدرعةً بسلاح الفهم -ولو البسيط- لطبيعة الأوضاع السياسية التي حصلت قبل بدء الأحداث المسرودة هنا. ملاحظتي الوحيدة واليتيمة هي كثرة علامات التعجب!!!! لم يكن هناك إحتياج لها، كان المكتوب سيثير عجب الشيطان نفسه حتى وإن لم تُستخدم هذه العلامات!!! أما ما أثار شفقتي فكانت حقيقة أن هؤلاء السجانين في الحقيقة هم المساجين. بينما كان الإعدام أو الموت هو خلاص المساجين، كان السجانين قابعين في جحيمهم، يلوغون في وحل قذارة أفعالهم يومًا بعد يوم، لسنواتٍ طِوال.
أختم قولي هذا وأرجو الله لي ولكم أن يجيرنا من نار جهنم!!!...more

بالمجمل لا بأس به، كتاب كافكوي طبيعي ومعتاد. لكن لغة الكتاب كانت معقدة وصعبة بشكل مقرف، وعلامات الترقيم منثورة في الصفحات بلا حسيب ولا رقيب.
جدير بالذكر أن بعض القصص كانت ممتازة، ولكن عيب اللغة بالإضافة لتشتت القصص وضبابيتها صعّب عملية القراءة. أعتقد أن كل القصص هي فقط قناع لأمور أعقّد قصدها كافكا، وأن المجازيات المستخدمة تحتاج دراسة متأنية لتُفهم. ...more
