The author brings to life the trials of marriage, motherhood, friendship, childhood trauma, misunderstandings, grudges, and many other relationship dynamics. This book is long but I found myself always wanting to pick it up to be with these characters. The audio narrator does the perfect job of bringing Julia to life.
