5 Stars- I love books like this that are character driven, span decades and focus on family and relationships. The main character Julia is so relatable and flawed and I was rooting for her even amongst some of her most terrible decisions. And then there are so many other characters to love. The author brings to life the trials of marriage, motherhood, friendship, childhood trauma, misunderstandings, grudges, and many other relationship dynamics. This book is long but I found myself always wanting to pick it up to be with these characters. The audio narrator does the perfect job of bringing Julia to life. Now I can’t wait to read Claire Lombardo’s first book!
