I thoroughly enjoyed going through this book, reading all the little gratitude reminders. It really honestly helped to lift my mood on a day I wasn't feeling very positive, I was weighed down with anxiety and on the verge of a panic attack. This book with the comforting words and simple, soft beautiful floral artwork throughout the pages was just what I needed. I highly recommend this little book for everyone especially those filled with so much worry and uncertainty. I love reaching for this book when I need reassurance and comfort, or during happier times to use together during my Bible study and Journaling to reflect on all the wonderful blessings I have in my life....more

Unfortunately, I give this bookLine Moriarty is one of my favorite authors, I don't think I've ever given any of her books a low rating before. Sigh. Unfortunately, I give this book a very hard 3 stars. I'm going to go ahead and blame it on the audio version of the book because I've loved all Liane Moriarty's books when I've read them. So, the audio book sucked, I'm off to get a physical copy of the book to read the good old fashioned way, and hopefully my updated review will be much better, I believe it probably will be. There's nothing better than reading an actual book.
The plot is very interesting and sounds true to Ms. Moriarty's style of writing that I love. The narrator of the audio book doesn't do this book any justice. I don't recommend listening to the audio version, I do however, highly recommend the printed version, it's so much better in my opinion. ...more

Dune sounded pretty interesting to me when I read the synopsis, and it was when I started to read it. A lot of people said they had an issue with all the characters introduced and keeping up with them, this was not my issue, I honestly didn't feel like I couldn't keep track of the characters. My issue was not being able to relate in any way to any of the characters to give me a reason to continue on with the book. I felt no connection, no emotions toward anyone or their situation, so I found it hard to care about what happened in the book. ...more

I love it when I stumble upon a book with a bit of mystery that throws me for a loop. Because it is my fave genre, I've read many books that have very similar plot lines, and I'm left scratching my head wondering if I've read this book already. The Break Down had me in its clutches until the very end, it was so good....more

The author did a great job researching Cleopatra and all the key people of her time such as Caesar, Pompeii and others.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that may be doing a project for school, theatre, film, documentary and so on. ...more

He tends to share too many stories about men in history that have cheated on their wives, including Bill Clinton. He talks about how these sins are forgiven by Jesus on the cross. Its quite evident Ravi is making excuses for himself due to his own scandal. ...more

I was so close to putting it down and not finishing it, it almost made it to my DNF shelf. As I said the story started picking up speed midway and even more so closer to the end of the book. I'm not sure about the hype this book has been getting as I was bored through most of it, the characters were boring, generic and not at all relatable. There was a shocking twist at the end of the book that was worth the read and earned the book three stars....more
