*** 2 Stars Another over hyped book that didn't do it for me ***
My rating is based on MY FEELINGS after reading this.
It's not an attack on the Author or people who have rated this book highly.The last time I gave a negative review on a highly rated book I got a load of abusive personal messages....this is my personal opinion.
So,I read the blurb for this and was so excited....revenge and darkness.Hell yes,I thought.
Really I should have given up quite early on.
The whole Horsemen thing was just too ridiculous for words.I mean what????
Past school members come into the school wearing masks and even the teachers do nothing!!
The four Male characters are immature,overprivileged dickheads(well maybe one wasn't)
I started of liking Erika but then just got pissed of with some of her decisions.
Don't even get me started on the 'hot alpha male', Michael.God I hated him.(view spoiler)
The story was dragged out and the skimming started...
The only reason I kept on reading was to find out what happened that made these men so hell bent on revenge and if Erika was guilty of what they thought she was.(view spoiler)
The only redeeming point/character was Kai and 'that' scene was totally hot...

I've had the same problem with some highly rated books just not doing it for me. We all have different tastes which is why it's so fabulous that there are a ton of books out there. That scene with Kai was fantastic! Totally worth suffering through the book for. ;)

Awesome honest review lovely! I think you should steer clear from hyped books, they don't seem to work for you :/

Dang, sorry this didn't work out for you Hon. I'm horrified that people sent you awful messages like that before. That is so WRONG!! Everybody has different tastes and what works for some isn't always for others, those people need to get over themselves. I'm so sorry that people hurt you that way. I love all of your reviews!! xoxo

Oh honey, sorry it didn't work out for you. And I can't believe you got horrible messages just because you didn't like some books. It's so childish. :-/Btw I have a lot mixed thoughts about this book. I read a lot bad but also good reviews too. Who knows, maybe later I'll give a shot... :)
Great review babe...I've read all the other reviews and I already thought it wouldn't be for me. The hero seems like an immature little asshole and the heroine sounds like a doormat. Gonna take this one of my tbr list, because reading this would probably result in extreme baldness (me pulling all my hair out). Thanks for your honest review ...I appreciate it ;) xoxo
Great review, Judith! :) If you hate it, you hate it. I agree that sometimes the alpha-male thing can go too far in some of these books. Strong, yes. Asshole, no! ;)
First � Everyone is entitled to their honest opinion and others should respect that. I also notice this issue on Amazon for amazing, well written reviews for books I want to read. When a highly liked book is rated less than most have, you see lots of 'not helpful' votes on Amazon which are rather 'I don't like your low vote' instead of 'your review wasn't helpful at all'. Second � I like your review and it’s useful for me. In the past I often bought books just because of all the positive reviews and high ratings and assumed I must like them too. I need reviews like yours to make me sober up a little and consider if I really need to add another one to my already too big list of unread books on my Kindle. That’s still an issue if the cover is too hot ;D

Thanks,babe.The book in question was by a really popular Author with a massive following and people seemed to take it personally!!...and Kai was the only redeeming feature here,xx
