Honor Calhoun starts her day the same way she would any other, unaware that this day will be totally unlike any other.

Nathan Reed is enjoying a poker night out with his marine buddies when a text changes EVERYTHING. He suddenly finds himself in a mad search to find a girl who has been kidnapped and thrown in to a hole.

So here is the deal, I went in to this book COMPLETELY BLIND I never even read the synopsis in fact I was about 50% in to it before I even added it on ŷ������. And I totally recommend for others who want to read Text do the same. The book starts out very fast paced with a suspenseful tone to it. Frankly, it scared the bejeezus out of me. But, I blame that on me not reading the synopsis.

Honor and Nathan are fierce both are fighters and unrelenting in their fight for survival. Unfortunately so is the kidnapper.

The Characters
Honor was a fighter, she was tenacious and she had a really good sense of humor. Those are all great qualities for a heroine in my humble opinion.
Nathan was a bit intense. It was obvious that he experienced a few things in the past that left him scarred, though the revelations come a bit later in the book.

My Thoughts
Text is told in dual pov's and makes for a very quick read. Yes, it is book 4 in a series however it can be read as a standalone. I found it to be a soft read, meaning it was easy and uncomplicated. That is aside from the very beginning which I found to be harsh and at times terrifying because let’s face it NOTHING about a kidnapping is soft nor easy to read. There are some things in this book that will not work for some readers while others won’t mind. This one boils down to your tolerance and taste buds. It can pretty much go either way.

My Rating and Why��
I gave text 3 stars because while it held my rapt attention a few things within the storyline felt a bit unrealistic. For instance (view spoiler)[ If there is a kidnapper and ‘suspected killer�� after Honor, how is there NO POLICE stationed outside to watch her house around the clock? (hide spoiler)] That did NOT work for me. Also, I understand that people can easily become close due to extreme circumstances that bring them together but the book still had that insta-love feel to it. Things progress very quickly for Honor and Nathan in a very very short period of time.

My Ratings
Characters- Cute, Witty, Charming and intense
Writing Style- Fair
Plot/Storyline- Girl is kidnapped and falls for her savior
Steam Factor- Medium/Moderately Steamy on a scale of 1-10 I say 5
Entertainment Level- Lo-Med-Hi Surprisingly High, I had to know what happened and the book kept my attention all the way through.
Overall- I liked it! I recommend that readers check it out!
