I am really surprised by how much I loved this one. I was even prepared to round up to 5 stars, but then I saw that my friends who have read it loved the subsequent books even more, so I decided to leave room for improvement! I read and loved a book by Cynthia Hand a couple of weeks ago, and had many friends tell me that I had to try this series, and I'm so glad I did. I desperately needed a genre switch, and this turned out to be such a fun read.
"What do you see in a guy like Christian Prescott.?" He asked me that night when he dropped me off from Prom. And what he was really saying then, what would have come through loud and clear if I hadn't been so blind was why don't you see me?"
Oh, the angst of a teen love triangle! I really click with this author, I feel like she is one of those gifted writers who can really engage you in her characters, and I loved the Wyoming backdrop. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Thanks, Ya! You haven't read the rest yet? Maybe you'd want to read them with us. I'm going to peer pressure Fran until she agrees to read the rest with me. Lol. We were swooning like teenagers over that cute cowboy, Tucker. I tried not to read reviews, just glanced through the star ratings. I might like that, I'll check it out. Do you have a favorite by her? I've banned myself from romance until that L.H. Cosway book comes out, I need a re-set! :)
No. I haven't. The reason is I am a chicken with love triangle plot! lol I am with team Tucker so I have to make sure she will get a HEA with him otherwise I would be *devastated*.

Yes! It would be a let down if she didn't end up with Tucker, they are so cute. I guess the next one is pretty emotional too. How is that series going, Ami? We aren't reading the rest of this right now, I'm next up to get a library loan.
I'm just at the beginning of book 2 but I'm interested enough to wana finish it. They are long books though. Hazel said to prepare for heartbreak... I duno how this will end now
