i've typed and deleted this review for the past ten minutes. it's hard to review this book in a way that doesn't give too much credit to sarah j maas because i cannot emphasize enough how deeply troubled i am by her massive fame despite her problematic stances. all i can say is that i'm troubled by how much i enjoyed it.

Probably one of the most game-changing books I have ever read. My love for Rhysand might be usurp my love for Warner.

Wow! When I saw your tweets reading the first few pages I was thinking just wait until you meet Rhys in this book. He is wonderful.

I absolutely agree. I was cringing at the beginning but then it became better and better and I waited for the inevitable fall but it never came. It was really good.
I FUCKING LOVE THIS BOOK. Other books pale in comparison to this masterpiece.
I told you that the guys were pretty similar and that you would love ACOMAF. Rhysand really reminded me of Warner, but I may just love Rhysand more as well.

Alice (sorry not sure if there's a reply function?) Warner is from the Shatter Me series, but knowing that readers like Warner is a bit of a character spoiler since he isn't the nicest in book 1 :)
