I just have to give this book 5 stars even though I don't think it's for everyone. I just LOVED it! I think it's a great representation of real life and people. My favorite parts of the book are when Samuel is a boy and friends with Bishop (and also reading about Bishop as an adult). I did not want this book to end! I am amazed this is his first novel. I hope he's hard at work on another and I don't have to wait long in between novels.
