I wrote down brilliant and original ideas about this classic but left it near candy by my bedside. When I woke up all of it was gone and the dog was wagging her tail(and tale), and looking angelic.

Stephen. The 'My dog ate it' line has long since been discredited and replaced by 'I accidentally deleted it.' I use it often myself and always get sympathetic responses.
I wonder whether those ideas will somehow get hold of the dog...it would be interesting to meet him then!
Some of the best ideas get stuck in between.
Purgatorio is a good name for a naughty dog! She is what she eats!
