i found this book to be underwhelming with the romance but you may like it!

@aurora Unfortunately, I'm not into any of it--the romance, the mystery, or the characters🥲 I guess this isn't my thing.

Sofia, the only thing keeping me alive during these *trying times* (first time I've ever used that phrase, not sure what it means but who cares?) are your rants. If you didn't write them I might've just physically fallen apart

It's overrated and predictable imo
To be honest, I don't think I've ever read an actually good YA mystery

I was afraid to admit I didn't last long reading this. I skipped to the end just to get on with it 😬

I hated this book too. 😭 the description is so misleading I thought it was like a maze hunger games battle royale house thing for money but it was just this uhm whatever it was. I need to stop thinking just because a book is popular on ŷ������ it might be good

AAAH yeah I love hype because it's so fun to get all wound up in bookish news but I hate reading hyped books because it raises the standards so damn much!

Well, it's the Other Father from Coraline, and he's almost as lovely as a portrait of a cat!

Who wants the romance? The "non-crime mystery" genre is rare and I am excited to find it more often! This heroine was a very mature girl too, with adult decisions to make.
