As someone who couldn't care less about this series, this little novella turned out better than expected. There is no group orgy scene, I know, I can't believe it myself. Somebody better pinch me. 👀
Fire Night had some cute festive scenes with each of the couples and their kids. I was even surprise to find that Penelope Douglas managed to pack suspense into these few pages. Also, who would have thought that Kaibanks, the most boring couple of them all, would have the most psycho child lmao. What I'm not digging at all is the lowkey cousin-incest-vibes, I get from Mads and Octavia. Just no. 😭
I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't hope for a second gen spin off series, but the way Fire Night and Nightfall epilogue ended... I can see a spin off down the line.
I wanted more kids. That was until I went over to Damon’s house and then I’d be running out the front door ten minutes later with a migraine. Their nanny day drank, and I wasn’t even going to pretend that I didn’t understand why.Tag yourself. I'm the nanny.

lmao I was so surprise that there weren't really any huge explicit sex scenes in this book and really focus on the suspense 😂 right?? Mads was already off in NF and this book proved it even more

ma'am finish this series this year please. 👀

I'm having such a hard time with sec generation spin offs, most of the times the authors try to make the kids more extreme than the parents and excuse me the Devil's Night crew is already pretty unrealistic 😂

Thanks for your honest criticism, I'll take it into consideration for my next troll review. 😌

Are you one of the pervy fans or Pen's team member who harasses reader for their HONEST reviews? I remember what ya'll did last time. You and Penelope as well are trolls, because ruining good characters and series for your orgy fantasies then harassing readers to save the book's promotion was LOW. As far as I know, Phuong is one of the most honest readers and her reviews are spot on. She never licks the ass of the author, especially the ones who do fanservice. DISGUSTING!

And about @Vivian, just try read A LOT of books and review them and don't critize who do it before you were even a GR member! peace out

Second gen spin offs are just not my thing.

Thanks for coming to my defence, I really appreciate it! 🥺 but haters gonna hate so comments like that are more entertaining for me. 😂

2030 sounds about right for a spinoff lmao 😂 first she needs to write the Hellbent series which will take 6 years at least! Thank you Marta!! 😊

Exactly!! Can only agree with what you've said, but I'm still glad you loved this series. 😊

That quote was really speaking to me on a spiritual level ahaha 😂 right? I'm was so relieved to see no threesome/orgy whatever scenes for once. Everything was pretty chill how it should be in a novella. 😌 Thank you Em! 🤩

Truly my mind was blown as well

Also after reading Mel's review I too also picked up on the maybekindaprobably - lowkey cousin-incest-vibes, I get from Mads and Octavia - Can PD not do that? That would be nice 😌
Also I think I'm just gonna read Killswitch and then this novella. That sounds like a good life choice.
Fab review, Phuong!!

that was such a twist I didn't see coming with the missing threesome scene. 👀
after everything she wrote in the Devil's night series... I'm not even surprise if she's going with the cousin incest plot, but I'd rather she would not. 🙈
enjoy Killswitch from all the books, winterdamon, is the most beloved one. hope you will like them. but the plot can be very confusing for you since these books are not standalones. 😂

I was hoping it's that case that he feels more as her protector, like Damon/Banks but idk reading their scenes made me still lowkey uncomfortable bc of the underlining cousin incest vibes. 😂
