Fire Night (Devil's Night, 4.5)

This was actually and surprisingly cute?
So here are my random chaotic thoughts;
� I still don’t know how I feel about the fact that those psychos managed to start families. Kinda makes me think that everything is possible. Because if they managed to be parents, I could graduate, right? Right???
� The setting is so freakin atmospheric.
� The first half of the book was really sweet, cozy, and festive. It was nice to see those characters in a different holiday other than the devil’s night.
� The second half was so action packed and twisted and all those crazy things that those characters always get into.
� Mad and Octavia are so freakin cute!!
� Madden is a psychopath.
•For some reason I enjoyed seeing all these characters again with them all being together and all their families.
� Damon’s scene with his mother was so freakin heartwarming, sad, and just so emotional!
� Also, is the key that Mad found at the end of the book is the same key that Emory had in nightfall? The key to that secret room in the cathedral? I think I’ve an idea about who gave it to him. Okay that’s interesting.
� I wanna say that I wouldn’t mind a Mad and Octavia’s book, but this kid scares me like really scares me. Oh also they are cousins so..

i was surprised with this novella too cuz it was cute?? like- am i reading a devil's night book? umm. i 100% think madden is a psychopath too cuz he just killed 2-3 men like it was nothing lol alsooo OMG ur right!! i forgot about the key!! i think it is the same key that Emory found and she gave it to Mads? ahhh idk but i can't wait for the next book.

This is still on my 2020 tbr. I didn’t dive in right away because of the shitshow called Nightfall. But this review makes me so happy, finally something normal-ish again!
This was a nice surprise after nightfall. The first half was actually sweet and festive and the second half was so action packed. And thankfully there wasn’t any weird out of character sex scenes. It’s as normal-ish as those psychos could be, lol! So I would say that it’s safe to give it a try. Hope you end up enjoying it as well! xx
lol em, yes to the "if they can do it, you can do it too" mentality. 😂 also, i really enjoyed this one too. lots of funny, emotional, and thrilling moments in one novella. would definitely read mads book should there be one in the future. maybe not him with tavi as a couple though. awesome review! 💗
I mean right?? I have to believe that, lol! For such a short novella, it was so entertaining and packed with everything. I’m glad to know you enjoyed this one too. Madden’s book should be interesting. It’s such a shame that those two are cousins, but I would settle with them having a special bond like Damon and Banks. Tavi could also have her own book with Mads scaring any potential love interest away, lol! xx

Hahahaha I'm loving your review. And omg I need this kind of encouragement I mean if Damon of all people started a family and have kids then we can definitely do anything. Also, I'm with u on Mads. That kid scares me. However, I didn't like the vibes I got from him and Octavia it feels like the author is sending out incest vibes
