“She said nothing then, her lovely mouth otherwise engaged, until he came, all over her face. She had gagged, and moved him outside her lips, rubbing his spurting glans across her cheeks and chin.
Is all his sex writing that bad? It's got me in fits of giggles.

''You know what this magazine needs? A white girl sucking a big black **** whilst simultaneously ****ing herself with a broomstick.''
That's from 'The Anatomy Lesson' by Philip Roth. (Didn't want to use the actual words but you get the idea). It really amazes me what some of these acclaimed writers can get away with putting down in the novels. I suppose they're just trying to be 'powerful' but yeah, gets a bit much sometimes. Sometimes I think the author just needs a cold shower and a lie down.

On reconsideration, you and Heraclitus are right!
It is similarly evident that Shakespeare was a psychotic aristocrat, but which one? Powerful as it is, this method still has its limitations.

By the way, when we were at a restaurant in Marseille last year, I was amused to notice that they had a dessert named after it. (All the desserts had literary names, in fact). The French are so politically incorrect.

I must re-read it, though unfamiliarity is no bar to an imperious opinion!
