Very enjoyable in the beginning. Some moments of farce, but by the 45% mark, it does get predictable. Everyone loves each other and the villains are obvious and offer minor twists and revelations. More explicit dirty talk than what I expect in a Regency written like this, but no complaints. Just an observation. The dirty talk is hot!
I like Grace Callaway’s writing style. Rake with BDSM inclinations (very garden-variety) and confident “older heroine (she’s in her mid to late twenties).
I’ll continue reading her stories, hoping I find one I fall in love with 100%. I noticed that in this book I loved the first half. In another book I read by her, the beginning was a lil predictable but the ending half I loved.
