I had promised myself never to read another book by this author, and I should have kept that promise.
But I had to satisfy a special request from a friend who guaranteed that this is the author’s best.
Because I had very low expectations I can’t say that I was disappointed.
This author is definitely not for me.
All of her books starts very strong but it gets ruined during the development, either by weak dialogues or by unbelievable twists.
Here we have vibes of “And Then There Were None� and “The Sixth Sense�.
If you think that’s original then you are in for a treat.
I personally was not impressed or surprised by the development of the the storyline, but I do have to agree that the atmosphere was very good, as well as its structure.
The audiobook, which I played while reading, is really good and I do recommend it.
I will not be surprised if someone decides to make an adaptation for the screen.

Great review Nilton! She is one of my favorite authors, but I agree that this twist was more obvious than her other books. Sorry it didn’t work for you!

Thanks Katy! This author must be wanting the title of the queen of far fetched conclusions. She tried too hard in every book. But lots of readers love her.
