Who knew a book centered around octogenarians living in a retirement home could be such delightfully fun!

Virtually every senior-living home provides activities and ‘clubs�� for their residents. The standards like chess, knitting or even a light exercise class. But a handful of creative residents at Cooper’s Chase Retirement Village have formed their own club. Meeting every Thursday, they are the “Thursday Murder Club.�� Taking on old cases and now recent murders, they do their best to assist or should I say, guide the police to solve the crime.

There are so many emotions locked within this gem of a book. It’s impossible to hide from the heartache of the aging process and what that means physically and mentally. Fortunately for us the author blends in such an up-lifting dose of humor you’ll instantly replace heart-ache with big chuckles!

I loved every member of the murder club and their personal stories. But was equally fond of the two police officers who first reluctantly, then willingly assist the club members. And to be blunt��I want more of all of them! And lucky for me this is just book one of three (so far) in this unique series.

So many of my friends have mentioned that the audio is really the best way to experience this series, so I'm already queued up for the two remaining installments in audio! Let’s go!
