okay, this book was even better than the first one 🫠 seriously, i finished the second half of the book in a day, i LOVED it.

at the beginning, it was getting a little too political, i’m not going to lie. however, the plot was really intriguing and i couldn’t stop reading!! i’m also loving Holly Black’s writing, it really flows 😽

i devoured the Jurdan content in this book, i fear. there was more romance and i’m thankful for that because i love them. jude getting flustered and cardan flirting is everything to me 🤭 especially if you remember this:

« I hate you. I hate you so much that sometimes I can’t think of anything else. »

*faints* ugh. i’m going feral.

about that ending�� i definitely didn’t see that coming. CARDAN WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?? 😭 “he laughed with them”⁉�� i’m not okay. to be honest, i’ve seen that quote before somewhere but i didn’t expect it in that context 🤧

overall, this book might be my favorite in the series but i’ll decide when i read the last book 🤭 i’m just so happy that i finally gave this series a chance, i’m in love. i hope i’ll love “queen of nothing�� as much as i loved “wicked king�� 🫶🏻

I LOVE HER SO MUCH. this girl continues to suffer and i’m heartbroken because of everything in this book�� my girl jude deserves the WORLD. she respects and cares for taryn, even though she did all these things. she was liferally held captive in sea��

i think she was better in this book but i hate how clueless she is sometimes�� i mean, she knows locke is up to no good 😃 she be ignoring those red flags better than me 🚩

my guy tried so hard to kill jude and still failed. seriously i can’t decide who he’s obsessed with anymore, well he’s probably just obsessed with himself 👁️👅👁️

he’s still such an interesting character and he is also truly clever�� i can’t wait to see his moves in the next book.

why did the Ghost do us like that? i liked that guy 😭 i found him suspicious somehow but did not expect that betrayal to happen��

on the other hand, i loved Jude, the Roach and the Bomb’s friendship!! this trio is amazing and i loved reading their scenes. they were either wholesome or hilarious 🫂

in addition, Balekin bugged me so much and what was he doing with jude ⁉️😭 i literally had flashbacks from another series, which i won’t mention in case of spoilers 💀 anyways, i’m happy with his ending 🥰
