People We Meet on Vacation

Poppy and Alex became friends in college and though they now live apart in NYC and Ohio, have taken a trip together every summer when Alex has a break from teaching. This is something they’ve both looked forward to all year, until 2 years ago when their trip changed everything.
Poppy is determined to get back on track this summer and is pleasantly surprised when Alex agrees to meet up in Palm Springs. She has one week to “right� their relationship and of course, things don’t go exactly as planned.
Moving back and forth between this summer and past summer trips, People We Meet on Vacation is a story of friendship, romance, and a little armchair travel. This is my 3rd Emily Henry book and I get why she is well-liked. I enjoyed the story, especially on audio, narrated by the best of the best, Julia Whelan.

I do like Julia Whelan, so I may try it, if it becomes available on one of the library apps.
