โ•ฐโ”ˆโž� If by any chance youโ€™ve been living under a rock this is the first book in the Chestnut Springs series and it follows Rhett who is a famous bull rider who loses a sponsorship over some controversial comments. So his agent tasks his daughter, Summer, to keep him in line. But will they be able to resist the attraction and keep the professionalism?

This was really cute. My expectations werenโ€™t too high for this one because thereโ€™s a lot of mixed opinions and people that donโ€™t like it and given that I wasnโ€™t in love with Elsieโ€™s first series. But I actually really enjoyed it. The beginning of the book didnโ€™t grab me too much but something shifted and it started to pick up and actually got me invested in their relationship.

Summer was a lovable character and I did feel for her given what she went through, but I couldnโ€™t fully connect with her. I liked her but I was expecting a bit more out of her.

Rhett I really enjoyed him, but wouldโ€™ve liked to have more substance to his character! But he was so sweet with Summer and I loved seeing that side of him and their cute moments together. Also, Rhett Iโ€™m with you on the milk hating!

Also, I really liked the setup for the rest of the series. I loved finally meeting these beloved characters. The Eaton brothers dynamics was so fun and lighthearted and I canโ€™t wait to have more moments with them. Iโ€™m so intrigued about Cade and his broodiness! Also, I loved Willa!! She was the better part of the book, and she barely appeared, so I just know Iโ€™m gonna love her! She seems like such a badass and so fun. I canโ€™t wait to read her book!

Overall, this was a good introduction to the series and a fun, cute and lighthearted romance.

Iโ€™m a little scared because I didnโ€™t love Elsieโ€™s other series but also excited because everyone says this one is much better. Yโ€™all better not be lying!
