2.5⭐️ whose genius idea was it to write Rue's pov in first person and Eli's in third person? 🤔 it made a not so good read extra exhausting for no reason!!
also, please please please Ali Hazelwood, more STEM, less smut. we want characters we can actually relate to and want to care about so we will as excited as we were about Adam and Olive when we heard they were getting cameos in other books.
after the disappointment that was The Bride, I didn’t know if I wanted to touch this and I was scared 😩😩 it turns out I was right to be 🤷🏽♀�

I think she explains why it's smutty even before the book starts.
The POV switching really messed with my head!! I couldn’t keep it straight.
I couldn’t put my finger on it but you’re right, the switching povs absolutely made a difficult read worse.
