I've read four books and just started the fifth one since I started reading this story. This type of situation is usually a huge indication that the book I’m reading - or rather trying to read - is simply not working for me, so unfortunately I have to stop at this point. Trust me, I hate to say this because I was extremely excited about this title, but I just don't care enough, or at all to continue it.
I don't know if it's the writing style, which, although quite okay, didn't draw me into the plot, or the characters, who, although interesting, didn’t interest me because I couldn’t connect to them. I literally forced myself to read it and I told myself that I would stop doing it because it always puts me into a reading slump, so sadly I have to say goodbye to it. I'm happy for the people who loved it though. I wish it was me, because when I was younger I was obsessed with Vikings and Norse mythology.
