I always appreciate the donations that are provided by my neighbors to my Little Free Library Shed. They also serve as a reminder for me to re-visit books that I have read in my recent past so that I can bring my reviews to ŷ.
Here is the premise of this story in question form that the book asks…would you defend your husband (she is an attorney) if he was accused of killing his mistress?
Can a book be really, really good at the beginning and the end and but fall flat in the middle? Which means it frustrates the reader to not be sure they want to even reach the end?
And what if a story has so many questions but not enough answers � does that make it a good read, or an ineffective plot?
And what if a plot feels so unrealistic as a reader you find yourself shaking your head and wondering, did I read that right? Or, should I have read this, at all?
And then by the time we get to the rushed conclusion, did it really connect to the whole story? Was I satisfied with this story or did I feel it was a convoluted plot trying to be a good mystery?

Your review has so many questions but not enough answers but I enjoy it very much anyway.

Great review!This one was a dnf for me.
Unrelated to the review - I love those little neighborhood libraries! I like that I can put books there to circulate in the community for free, instead of donating to a thrift store. Nothing wrong with that of course, but I prefer the little libraries :)
I don’t think this author would be a fit for me! Fair and honest review!

Yes, this was a downer for me. A horrible book waste of time. But sometimes it is nice to have those experiences to appreciate the better books, too! 🙂
I started this one about a year ago, but I remember quickly returning it. I just couldn't get into it.
