The anticipation I have for this book is unmatched. The amount of time I spend thinking about this story? Also unmatched.

Read Manacled in 2023 and it permanently changed the trajectory of my reading habits. Reread chronologically in August 2024 and it was pain and suffering x2. Cannot wait to read this reworking (but they'll always be Draco & Hermione to me 🫶)

my most anticipated read for the next year🤭
I read manacled earlier this year and it completely destroyed me 😭 I don’t know if I can go through the heartbreak again (of course I will, I’ll read it as soon as it drops)
@Kelsey It was my top read of 2023. I still think about it several times a week and I've been reading Dramione fanfiction ever since.My one concern is I don't think I can see the characters as anyone other than Draco and Hermione. I'll be interested to see if the way she writes these changes can effectively take my mind out of the Harry Potter world.
Oh no please don't. I'm thinking of re-reading Manacled, it has been weeks XD I'm not ready for a re-read right now

@Krysta I just checked and it looks like it's still on Archive of Our Own. You just have to search for "Manacled by SenLinYu", and then I download the epub files and send them to my Kindle!

@Sashenka I think the only solution after reading Manacled is to read more Dramione fics. Have you read Secrets & Masks yet? If no, I highly recommend.

If no, I highly recommend."I've tried but after Manacled, I don't know, I felt it wasn't good enough xD But I did read Bloody Slutty and Pathetic and I really enjoyed it! I just need lighter Dramione fics now I think
@Sashenka I made my sister read Manacled and she said the same thing when I tried to convince her to read Secrets & Masks. That one definitely isn't light at all so I understand 😭You might enjoy Breath Mints/Battle Scars. Draco is really toxic in that one but it isn't as dark as Manacled or S&M.
BSP was so fun! I prefer the dark fics with sad/bittersweet endings but that was probably one of my favorite lighter fics.

I usually avoid lighter fanfics because I feel like characters acts out of characters, it's just a story with Hermione and Draco names xD
I have it on my tbr! Another one that I LOVED was Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love <3
@Sashenka Yes, I agree! BM/BS isn't "light" but it isn't as sad as Manacled and S&M... I think probably you will like it.DMATMOOBIL was cute but I actually liked BSP even better 🤭 Let me know if you ever want more recs, I am always reading Dramione, even when I'm not posting updates here.
