As soon as I saw this, I knew I had to read it. I actually was unaware that Lisa Marie had passed away so recently. I was even more surprised when I learned about Lisa Marie asking for Riley's help only months before her death. What a huge undertaking under such emotional circumstances!
I listened to the audio version and it was superb. The chapters that are Lisa Marie's point of view are narrated by Julia Roberts. Riley narrates her own point of view intertwined at the right moments throughout the book. There are also small sections of Lisa Marie's recorded voice sprinkled in here and there. Very well done audio. I think the last line of the book description sums up my desire to read this very well: "...the last words of the only child of an American icon."

Oh didn't know Lisa Marie had passed away recently. Or maybe totally forgot about it. Sounds like she released her memoir just before time. So tragic :(

You confirm what I've heard of this memoir, that it's so tender. I watched interview with Riley recently, talking about her mom, brother and Elvis. Have you visited Graceland? They interviewed her there.
