Forget You by Jennifer Echols wasn’t as great as I was hoping it would be, which was slightly disappointing because I absolutely loved Going Too Far and was hoping for a repeat. However, that's not to say I didn't enjoy this book to some degree because I actually did. At times, though, the writing and flow seemed a bit choppy and all over the place, which was a bit distracting.
As far as the characters go, I liked Zoey, but I wished she would have gotten a clue a bit sooner about the whole Brandon situation because it was rather frustrating to see her stressing over a relationship that just didn’t exist. But, I have to say that I loved how much Zoey obsessed over the small things, like her chipped nail polish, wet clothes, box of rubber jackets even down to the deer she almost hit the night of her accident. Zoey's father Clyde was such a jerk in this book. I could NOT stand him. Same goes for Doug’s father. Brandon, despite his player ways, was actually a likeable character to some degree because he just seemed so clueless about his actions toward girls and it never seemed like he acted out of malice or deciet. Doug was a great addition to the storyline, and for me he's what made it worth my time. His attitude and concern for Zoey was nice to read and their "moments" together were pretty steamy signature of Echols' ability to pen romantic, daring and heartfelt moments between characters.
I feel Jennifer Echols does a good job developing relationships between likeable characters that ooze of wit and charm and it never feels over-the-top. But overall Forget You was an average enjoyable read, and not quite the caliber of greatness that I know Echols is capable of.

I really need 2 order this one I luv Jennifer Echols :) Happy reading :)

I really liked Doug. One of my fave Doug moments...
page 112... Doug says, "I figured you were running on adrenaline this morning but you'd crash tonight. And I knew you'd come to the meet, because you're such a dork." Zoey replies, "I love it when you talk dirty." "Go take some Tylenol," he told me.
It is weird that I find it charming when Doug calls Zoey a dork? LOL Maybe it was his concern for Zoey that made it sweet. :)

Completely agree 100%!
I'm looking forward to her next project though, I think she said it was one the she really really loves:)

Oooh!!! What is her next project? I'm going to check out her site for answers. Thanks for the heads up. :)
