This thread will be for discussion of books, keeping in touch with each other, encouraging each other, possible mini-challenges/read-a-thons, team updates, etc.
Keep it (relatively) clean, be nice to each other, and have fun!
Evana and I will be your team captains! Ask us if you have questions. Keep in touch with us! :)

Here's our team spreadsheet. It'll be updated every few days (possibly more often considering I'm a little OCD sometimes, I mean, I'm an accountant... I obsess over spreadsheets and numbers!).
The first tab is our team information. The columns should be pretty self-explanatory, and there is a key for the symbols. The second tab won't be updated daily, probably twice a week, and compares the team and has a dandy little box at the bottom telling you who is IN THE LEAD!
Off to the right on the Team Comparison tab, you can see who is in first, second, and third with fancy gold, silver, and bronze colors! :)

Great spreadsheet, Steven! I love that you used a mango colored font!!!
Good luck, everyone! Steven is so fun, I'm sure you'll all have a great time in this team.

Sheila, Nancy, Karla and Evana were also on Team A

I agree... I'll probably spend a while snooping around here, Steven was the junior member of the A-team, so I feel a little like a mother hen :D

Hahaha mother hen, huh? You'd have had me when you were 9!!!
But I appreciate all the Steven-love. I am pretty adorable!!!!! *giggles*
Thanks for deleting that thread, Sonia. Remove all evidence of my poor direction following skills! :)

(It had to be the hard way le sigh)
Yep, mother hen, ask my little sister - she was born when I was 9, is 22 cm taller than me, but I turn a real lioness if someone or something tries to hurt her.
:)
Yes, you are adorable, in a dorky-reader way *giggles back*

I ended up on B'dazzled Blue, which hasn't been accepted yet because I think captains are still doing whatever they need to do or maybe they are offline. Anyway, I volunteered to captain another team if I'm needed since you're making it look so easy now, haha. So, we'll see if I end up elsewhere to get another team off the ground.

Have you join the sister group and challenge yet? No? why not? Steven's one book read is hanging there all alone...

Sonia -- what team are you on? Or are the mods not joining teams until everything is squared away?

I begin the assignments on one team, but now I'm teamless (it is so a word)
The good part is that I don't feel*giggles* like spying every time I jump from thread to thread

I don't know what could possible give you that impression!
weird thing, I actually manage to keep a straight face while writing it *giggles*

I did request to join, I swear! As soon as it's approved, if I understand the process for this round, Steven's book won't be the only one hanging out there on our team shelf :)

Ok, give me a minute. I'll do that the hard way :)

YAY Barb is on the board. I think I'll be OCD and update the spreadsheet immediately!!!

FYI: Just to drive Steven a little crazy, I added a new member... and changed his total. **hee hee**

*Laughs so hard that wakes the cat*

You can keep the same bookshelf. Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ challenge tool will pick up any books FINISHED within the challenge dates set up and automatically count them towards the new challenge. :)
Also, be sure to input the same number you put as your goal for Round I, the whole year number, on the challenge setup for Round II. :)

Looks good -- but it'll be better when there are more books added to it :)

*giggles*

Wait, I was on the winning team before stepping out? Oh well, on round one, team A was the leader for the first 3 weeks - we were the first team to have all the members joining the challenge, that made the initial difference.

Sallie, I haven't received a "request to join" from you. Either the eMail is hinky or super slow; could you please request again? Thanks!
