message 462: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sathans83) Has anyone read the Sookie Stackhouse series (True Blood books)?

message 463: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (luvs2read4ever) I am currently reading Twilight. I started it a few days ago. I am finding it a slow read to start. But I thought the movie was a little bit slow as well. I didn't really start getting into it until Edward and Bella were in class together the second time and they finally started talking. I think that I am going to get into this very quickly. I love the movie, so I am pretty sure that I am going to love the book as well.

DEFinetely for adults. especially the TV show. It's the most disgusting show i've ever seen. I couldn't watch it. It was even too bad for adults.

message 478: by Lex (new)

Lex | 2 comments I'm reading 'Catching Fire' the second book in 'The Hunger Games' series.

Celia Guzi (celiahearts) Lex wrote: "I'm reading 'Catching Fire' the second book in 'The Hunger Games' series. "

love the first book!!

message 480: by Lex (new)

Lex | 2 comments I thought the Host was only ok. It was more confusing then Twilight but it was still an easy read. I love twilight don't get me wrong but all of Stephie Meyers books are lacking a challenge ( as far as difficulty goes)and that is something i really like in a book. But even though the Host was harder i didn't like it nearly as much as Twilight.

message 481: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) yeah I took me like 12 chapters to finally get interested but I stuck through and made it through. The host was a difficult read in the aspect of interest

message 482: by Celia (new)

Celia Guzi (celiahearts) never red the host

message 483: by Katie (new)

Katie Me either.

message 484: by Sharda (new)

Sharda | 558 comments The Host was really good, as long as u give it a chance.I cant believe it's taking so long to get my copy of Catching Fire!

i just dont have the time or desire to read it.... but i will

i'v heard of everlost! its just sort of creepy

message 490: by Susan (new)

Susan (susanroutson) I couldn't descibe it that well so here I coped it. Nick and Allie don't survive the crash, and now their souls are stuck halfway between life and death in a sort of limbo called Everlost. It's a magical yet dangerous place, where bands of lost souls run wild andanyone who stands in the same spot too long sinks to the center of the Earth.

Frightened and determined, Nick and Allie aren't ready to rest in peace just yet. They want their lives back, and their search for a way homewill take them deep into the uncharted areas of Everlost. But the longer they stay, the more they forget about their pasts. And if all memory of home is lost, they may never escape this strange, terrible world.

Susan (susanroutson) What languages do they speak there? Do you know another language other than english?

message 497: by Sharda (new)

Sharda | 558 comments Spanish and English, but i can slightly understand french and pick out a few pieces of italian or portuguese or hindi.

message 498: by Susan (new)

Susan (susanroutson) That is cool. I can only speak english. But I know how to say one thing in spanish. "Where is the bathroom, pig." I would write it in spanish but I don't know how. My friends in school taught me to say it though.
