I continue to be unconvinced by Neil Gaiman's genius. 3 stars, review here.

It's great fun doing a buddy read, isn't it Carolyn?

I've had this on my bookshelf for a while. I keep wanting to read it, but just don't seem to ever pick it up. Maybe I should!

Yes, it was fun Elaine! It worked well with a quick crime read - lots to talk about :)

Thanks Carolyn for doing the buddy read with me, I look forward to doing it again sometime. It was good to discuss the book with someone else who is reading it and good fun too.
Next up for me is [book:The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry|18293427] by Gabrielle Zevin

You'll need some tissues handy for the end ;)

Up next is my second 1. TBR, The Forbidden Land.

I read this in 2012 when it came out. Was such a great story and in my book club we all shed a tear or two (even me who very rarely is affected that way!). Best book of 2012 for me

This is my second book for this challenge. What a delightful book, I loved every word in it and didn't want it to end. My new favorite, this is a keeper.

9. Find a book written by an Aussie author showing a warm, summery cover - this will make you cozy!

The story is set in summer too.

Up next is my second 11. TBR, The Skull of the World.

Thanks Brenda, that was very quick and good to know.

I noticed that, and the previous books get very good ratings as well.

Up next is my first 12. TBR, The Fathomless Caves.
I finished my Miles Franklin winner Bliss by Peter Carey. I had to give it five stars - it was so well done in every respect!
