Dangerous Heroes Spell It Out Challenge

Thanks, Katie. From your list I have read and enjoyed Angel's Blood and First Drop of Crimson. What are you considering for "O"?

"
Have you tried One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost? Based on your other choices I think you might enjoy it ... I think it's worth re-reading. Other suggestions might be Oceans of Fire or The Only One by Christine Feehan or One Silent Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon or Out of Body by Stella Cameron.

TFG, how about these:
Stardust of Yesterday
So Yesterday
Dr. Yes
The Year of the Flood
You Belong to Me
You can also use an author's last name starting with Y as a book.

First, I'd suggest going to your list of "my books". Select either "to-read" or "all". Click on title, that will put them in an alphabetical sort.
Second, browse through all the earlier posts in this thread.
If you don't see what you want there, here are a few "y" titles from my sort (I don't think any of these have a truly "dangerous hero"):
Yankee Wife by Linda Lael Miller (historical romance, kind of on the sweet side)
The You I never Knew by Christina Dodd which I have not yet read, I believe it's a historical romance.
You Slay Me (Aisling Grey: Guardian #1) by Katie MacAlister... I haven't read this, but some of her earlier work was full of humor, almost as much as Lori Foster's or Janet Evanovich's work.
Your Wish is My Command by Donna Kauffman which I've not yet read.
Yours2Keep by Kay Hooper which I know not much about, and
Yule Be Mine, a collection of novellas by Lori Foster.
The one I liked the most is non-fiction, the title is Yarn Bombing by Mandy Moore. See if your public library has it whether you use it for the challenge or not, it's pretty neat.

AND it turns out that I have You Slay Me on my read list. /sigh
Blond moment for sure.
Thanks bunches!!! <3

I love Lora Leigh and Christine Feehan, great choices. I'm not so fond of Davidson, but I might want to try some of your other authors. Thanks for sharing!

I think if you like "paranormal" fiction, I think you'll love Lora Leigh's Breeds series, which is not on your list for the challenge. If you like erotica, start at the beginning with those she published through Ellora's Cave, otherwise start the series with Megan's Mark.

It is hard to stand by the books you choose. I hate reading to schedule, so this has been a really interesting change for me. I don't like the pressure, but the challenges have increased my reading productivity.

Any thoughts yet on what you're considering for the "G"?

I don't presume to know what works for your taste, here's a selection (with explanations) from the best of my lists:
Childrens/Young Adult: The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein when I pledged the sorority, my big sister gave me a copy. A five-minute read that will stick with you for a lifetime.
Mysteries: The Girl Who trilogy by Steig Larssen which I’ve not read but Mom loved, and a lot of my pals on Booktalk (a daily thread on another site) loved them too. On my to-read list.
Contemporary fiction:
The Green Mile by Stephen King which is on my to-read, I’m told it's excellent and it isn’t horror.
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer which I loved (no dangerous hero).
Contemporary Paranormal fiction: Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen which I loved (no dangerous hero).
Contemporary Romances:
Gift of Gold and Gift of Fire by Jayne Ann Krentz, just a touch paranormal, read them together in order or just read the first one, good dangerous hero.
Gone Too Far (Troubleshooters #6) by Suzanne Brockmann, you should probably read the series in order if this one is your choice. Great dangerous heroes (including Arch's "Sam") in this series.
Grand Passion or The Golden Chance, stand-alones by Jayne Ann Krentz (good heroes but not dangerous).
Series Contemporary Romances (fairly quick reads):
Gabe (Buckhorn Brothers #3) by Lori Foster, you need not have read the first books in the series to enjoy it. Hero great but not very dangerous.
A Game of Chance (Mackenzie Family #5) by Linda Howard, again, you need not have read the first books in the series to enjoy it. Great dangerous hero.
Granite Man (Mackenzie/Blackthorn #4) by Elizabeth Lowell, again, you need not have read the first books in the series to enjoy it. Great dangerous hero.
Get Lucky (Tall, Dark, and Dangerous #9) by Suzanne Brockmann, these were the Navy Seal precursors to the Troubleshooters series. Lucky isn't as dangerous as Prince Joe and the rest but he's pretty hot.
Historical Fiction: The Game of Kings (Lymond Chronicles #1) by Dorothy Dunnett which I loved. Great dangerous hero, not paranormal, but not a romance until book #6. More of an action/adventure type story.
Historical Romance: Gentle Rogue (Mallory Family #3) by Johanna Lindsey, you should probably read the series in order should this be your choice.
Futuristic Paranormal Romance: Ghost Hunter (Harmony #3) by Jayne Castle/Jayne Ann Krentz, you may enjoy this more reading them in order, but it’s not necessary. Fairly good dangerous hero.

Thanks again!
