I am still waiting for mine from the library, I am like number 3 of 11 people waiting and it's taking forever. There is actually one person who is way overdue who really needs to turn their copy back in...lol!!!

Right now, reading Madhouse by Rob Thurman. I really like the Cal Leandros series. Goodfellow is my favorite.

message 1262: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. Finished Sins of the Night and Unleash the Night. Am starting Dark Side of the Moon. All by Sherriyn Kenyon. Except for the ending of Unleash the Night, I'm liking all the books.

I'm a Kenyon fan, too. I'm could be in love with Acheron, but he doesn't know I exist. And besides, I don't want Zsadist to feel like he has to compete for my affections. LOL

message 1264: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I feel that way about every one of the heros. I think, "Wow, this guy is so wonderful. He's my favorite." Then I read the next book and I think the same thing. Although I have to say Jamie Fraser is my true, true love. Don't tell my husband.

message 1265: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (theholyterror) | 115 comments I finished Divine Misdemeanors (Meredith Gentry, #8) by Laurell K. Hamilton last night, here's my review if anyone is curious, and now I'm starting The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2) by Rachel Caine . I read the first Morganville book a while ago and I can't remember what happened at the end. I think I have to dig it out and read the last few chapters to refresh. I hate when that happens.

ya I'm reading it now too, and it took a little while for me to get in to it, but I'm starting to. Part of it is because I didn't like Blue Moon all that much, Evermore was my favourite out of the two. Also because it's been a while since I read Blue Moon I'm having trouble remembering some things, so I get confused sometimes.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) (ibookienookie) I am reading The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter . I am a little torn because I like it, but the story line is flowing for me. Actually I am a little confused. I will read the other 2 in the trilogy and I really hope they get it together so to speak.

SHADOWLAND has gotten bad customer reviews on Amazon, too. It has more 1 star reviews than anything else. I'm done with the series after being so disappointed with it.

That sucks. I really got into the first one and I was hoping the rest of the series doesn't lose the touch. Depending on the second one, I may or may not complete the series.

Dream Hunter is meh, but it goes quickly and there are characters in it who play a greater role later on. That said, Solin is one of my favorite characters in the whole of the DH universe. Love him!

Michelle, I'm finding the same thing with Dream Hunter. I haven't come across the character Solin yet.

Everyone said skip Fantasy Lover because it wasn't good, but there were a lot of characters in that too that came up later. I found the same with Dark Side of the Moon, didn't care for the book but then Nick goes crazy in it which I'm sure will play in later in the series.

I'm reading the new Merry book this weekend. I'm also going to do the drinking game where everytime a character says a line I never want to hear again, I'll take a shot. Shannon, who did a review, had a link to the Amazon site where people were talking about the same lines over and over again and they were going to take a shot each time one came up. Very funny - I'm a light weight so I'll probably only last for maybe 3 shots and then fall asleep. :)

I'm going to try Kalua - I know I'm cheating - but I usually only drink foo-foo drinks. Maybe I'll add a drop of harder stuff. I'll give you an update.

Jaime Rush (jaime_rush) | 126 comments Carolyn, when my friends used to do tequila shots, I did what they called "wussy shots." Yep. And I didn't have a massive hangover the next day, either. and didn't yak on the floor, which I probably would do if I downed a shot of tequila straight...yuck! You could try buttery nipples, my fave! Butterscotch schnapps and a wee bit of milk. Add a drop of vodka for fire, LOL.

I just finished reading Dante's Inferno. It was for research, a proposal I'm playing around with, but I enjoyed it. I read the Ciardi version (think that's spelled right). I did a review of it. Now I have to actually *work* (writing, fun!) and won't have much of a chance to read...BWAHHHH.

Anna (aknas22) | 349 comments I'm reading [image error] by Kelly Meding. I'm enjoying it though it started out a little slow. Its the first book in the series so there was a some world building, maybe that's why. I will definitely read the next book in the series.

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) I just started Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews by Ilona Andrews. I'm enjoying it so far. I didn't want to put it down to go to sleep last night.

I'm trying to do some Christmas reading, but I'll probably read Touch the Dark (Cassandra Palmer, #1) by Karen Chance by Karen Chance soon, so I can find out about these Pritkin and Mircea characters that everyone is going on about. LOL.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I just finished In Bed With A Strangerby Mary Wine and really liked it. It was my first read of this author's work and I was impressed. I loved the way she wrote the Scotish brogue and defined the characters. It could be compared to an edgier Cinderella story with a wicked step-mother and step-sister.

Yay Danielle! I'm so happy! Remember: First Book Syndrom. But it all gets better. You'll love it I'm sure :)

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) Okay, I'll keep the FBS in mind, Mhel. Thanks for the warning. ;)

Dehvotion, I was looking at In Bed With a Stranger. Is it super-erotic? I like the steamy historicals. Not really into erotic. I appreciate the 411. Thanks.

I liked it. There was no sharing, which you know is something I'm not ok with, but Brodick sure did like telling Anne what he wanted to do to her. *blushing* More sexual than Garwood's books in that the sex was not as delicately described, but no where near something like... Colter's Woman. I think you'd be ok with it. I really did like it. Did you read my review?

Does that help?

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) I'll check out your review, Dehvotion. That does help. Thanks.

Jess | 3721 comments I'm about to start Truly, Madly A Novel by Heather Webber. I won it through the goodreads giveaway section.

I'm also reading The lost Symbol. But there's so much in that book I need to read it slowly.
