Thanks again :)

It took me a while but I was able to find the right mix of books from your TBR and new to you while not recommending you anything I recommended you before. Quite a feat, huh? ;)
Schools Out for Summer!
Ashfall by Mike Mullin: I read this recently and loved it. It's a tough book but with a really romantic young couple with one of the best relationships I've seen in YA and adult books in while.
Grave Mercy by R.L. LaFevers (TBR): I've heard tons of good things about this one and want to read it.
Flag Day, June 14th
Hard Evidence by Pamela Clare (TBR): Really good continuation of the series. Julian is to die for.
Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard: Funny romantic suspense with a sexy cop as the hero.
Don't Forget the Sunscreen
The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton (TBR): Haven't read it but just the warning tells me it will be really steamy. ;)
Mr. Wonderful Lies by Kaitlin Maitland (TBR): Really liked this cover! :)
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream
As You Desire by Connie Brockway: Very sweet romance.
Julia's Chocolates by Cathy Lamb: I've had this book in my TBR for a while and have been meaning to read it so if you pick it up, I'll try to join you. ;)
Fire up the BBQ
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen: The main character is a caterer that makes a special kind of food. ;) This book made me fall in love with this author and I devoured everything she's written ever since.
Bed, Breakfast and You by Maddie James (TBR): Looking around in your TBR paid off! I was able to find something there that fit the theme. ;)
Summer Solstice
A Summer to Remember by Mary Balogh: This is the prequel of the famous Bedwyn series and the best of the lot in my opinion.
Secrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas: I see you are almost done reading the Hathaway series so you might want to go back and read this series which is the one that comes before.
Gay Pride Month
Hot Head by Damon Suede (M/M): Really hot but romantic too. :)
A Girl Like You (TBR): Colorful cover from your TBR.
Old Maids Day, June 4th
Exclusively Yours by Shannon Stacey: The hero's parents and his whole family play an important role in this book.
The Lost Wife by Alyson Richman (TBR): The description of this book make it seem as if the couple will be on the oldish side. Hope it's a really good one.
BUDDY READS
Sand in Your Shorts
Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn (TBR): I really, really want to read this so let me know if you'd like to join me in a buddy read.
Grimspace by Ann Aguirre (TBR): Joyce picked this one for me for a buddy read so let me know if you want to join us.
Best Friends Day, June 8th
Practice Makes Perfect by Julie James: I already read this and I really enjoyed how both BFFs were an integral part but didn't overtook the plot.
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch: Epic fantasy book about a band of con artists (all friends from childhood). Really action packed and funny with really creative cursing. :)
BONUS
Father's Day, June 17th, because we all love a good daddy!
Bear, Otter, and the Kid by TJ Klune (M/M): Ugly cover but I've heard many good thing about it. Don't know if I can read it this month but I'm really intrigued by it.
Sea Swept by Nora Roberts: I read this one already and really enjoyed it, one of NR's most popular series.

1. School's Out for the Summer - I've been on a bit of a YA kick recently, so the first two books are ones that I read and enjoyed (the second one is about a bit of a controversial subject...) and the 3rd one is on my pile ;)
Perfect Chemistry
Forbidden
XVI
2. Flag Day, June 14 - so many good books in this category as well. I saw that you had read 1 Joey W. Hill previously and had the first in her Nature of Desire series on your shelf, my favorite one was the second one and you can completely read it as stand-alone - in fact, I recommend reading it first ;) I also wasn't sure if you were continuing your Around the World in 80 books journey, but the 2nd recommendation is set in Finland for your travels (but it is very dark...). The third one is off your TBR - futuristic cops, sexy Irishmen...uh-huh...time for some Eye and Rourke ;)
Natural Law
Snow Angels
Naked in Death
3. Don't Forget the Sunscreen
Mmm, I love me some hot books and both of these were really good reads. The first in the start of a series, and it has a few weak points, but lots of smexy cowboys ;)
Long Hard Ride
Mercy
4. I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream - Two recommendations for you here - one also fits into our featured author challenge, if you want to try her out - it is the first in a series about siblings who own some restaurants. The second just has a super-sexy scene featuring Cheesecake...you'll not look at it the same way again ;)
Delicious
Zack
5.Fire up the BBQ - Both of these books come from your TBR - i've read one and the other one got added to my ever growing list...(damn you!)
Garden Spells
Bread Alone
6. Summer Solstice - looking at your shelves, I can't believe you only have ONE Lisa Klepyas on it!! Her Wallflowers series is one of my favorites and as luck would have it, the first one is set during the summer...or how about another YA with Sarah Dessen
Secrets of a Summer Night
Along for the Ride
7. Gay Pride Month - each month a few of us have been doing a m/m buddy read, so the first book is the one we are reading this month. The second one is one of my first foray's into m/m and I still enjoy it to this day
Out in the Field
Faith & Fidelity
8. Old Maid's Day, June 4th - it takes a good writer to be able to successfully work secondary characters into books and not make them seem like add-ons. I haven't read the first book (plan on doing it this month), but really enjoyed the second one
One For The Money
Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal
9. Sand in your Shorts - I don't really have a favorite genre when it comes to beach reading...normally it is whatever I am reading at a given time...so there is a bit of everything here - a YA fantasy, a women's lit and some short stories
Graceling
Firefly Lane
Loves Me, Loves Me Not
10. Best Friends Day, June 8 - ohhh so many choices for this category...I've read all 3 of these and enjoyed them
The Proper Care and Maintenance of Friendship
My One and Only
Very Valentine
11. Father's Day, June 17th - i'm not typically a fan of books with dad's in it...but this recommendation showed up on a goodreads listopia search that I did, and I think my mom bought it for my kindle...SEALed with a Kiss

It looks like Suzanne H picked for me. She is actually in a different group. I picked for Suzanne, who is listed under my name in the list of who to pick for. I think Suzanne H picked for me because in the original post of participants Suzanne is listed above me and I think she thought that was her. You may want to PM Suzanne H with her correct person to pick for :)

Thanks again, Pat!

I hope you find something you like!

Thank you for the picks Suzanne, even if I wasn't supposed to get them, lol. I lucked out :)

Mommaseymour?
Also - you're welcome Fran :) I was so proud to get them out so quickly too! Hopefully there are some things that can still apply for my new pickee as these categories aren't easy!

Schools Out for Summer! - Young adult
Before I Fall or Between Shades of Gray. If you want something a little lighter from the books with children Smitten
Flag Day-Military: You have Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption on your TBR. This is an amazing story. It was our school summer read last summer and even the kids liked it (and even more--actually read it!) In the police category try the next Rizzoli and Isles book The Apprentice or The Witness
Sunscreen: Hot cover from your TBR Once Burned or how about fantasizing about the devil's son First Grave on the Right. A series you started that really gets better the farther you go and full of sexual tension Magic Burns
I Scream, You Scream Sweet Talk was my first Susan Mallery book. It will also fit with this month's author!
BBQ: Again from your TBR Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen or The Orchid Thief: A True Story of Beauty and Obsession I actually like the last one a lot-more of an outdoor book.
Summer Solstice: Mary Kay Andrews makes me laugh. Try
Little Bitty Lies
Gay Pride--same sex leads from your TBR Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell
Old Maids Day-books with prominent parent/grandparent From your TBR The Mammy or The World According to Garp. It's been many years since I read Garp (hs) but I remember laughing out loud. A recent amazing book I read that focusses on a young boy but mom/grandmom play important roles is A Monster Calls I gave it five stars.
Buddy Reads
Good Beach Read--I like thrillers because I don't have to be embarassed by the covers and my kids give me minimal grief so from your TBR Undone
Best Friends: Again from your TBR If I Stay
I can do buddy reads but more toward the middle and the end of the month. Have to get through finals and grades first.
Father's Day: This is one of my all time favorite books Peace Like a River. Beautifully written, thought-provoking and on your TBR!
Hope something here works!

Shellebelle I've been checking out your shelves and made a tentative list. I won't have computer access again 'til tomorrow, so I'll post your picks in the morning.

Schools Out for Summer! - Select a Young Adult book, a book with a child or children, or one with a vacation.Marked by P.C. Cast or Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin I've read both of these and liked them.
Flag Day, June 14th - Pick a book featuring someone in the military, a politician or a policeman/firefighter.North and South by John Jakes, you can't get much more military than that LOL You like the books she's written as Nora Roberts, so you could try this Naked in Death by J.D. Robb, Eve Dallas is a police lieutenant and she has a hot Hub named Roarke
Don't Forget the Sunscreen - Recommend a book with a hot cover or a steamy story. Lover Revealed by JR Ward is on my hot shelf. I've heard Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione is hot. And you can't help but like this cover...
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream - Suggest a book where a bakery or desserts play a role or one that has a sweet story. Neither of these are on your TBR list, but they fit perfectly - The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen (she bakes cakes for the restuarant she owns) and Sweet Talk by Susan Mallery (the girls own a bakery). I haven't read the Susan Mallery one, but have read the 2nd in that series.
Fire up the BBQ - Pick a book with a story that involves food or takes place outside. A Taste of the Nightlife by Sarah Zettel, I haven't read this, but it's vamp chef. And The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen, the heroine hides food in her closet :)
Summer Solstice - Select a book that takes place during the summer. This isn't on your list, but I love Lisa Kleypas, Secrets of a Summer Night. Or may I suggest One Day by David Nicholls, but have your tissue ready.
Gay Pride Month - Pick a book that features same sex leads or has a cover with at least three colors of the rainbow. Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian is on your list and has a colorful cover. I just read this a few days ago and really liked it! Another colorful cover is Firelight by Kristen Callihan. I haven't read this, but I bought it with the gift card Hubs gave me for our anniversary.
Old Maids Day, June 4th - Choose a book that has an older leading couple or one that has parents or grandparents prominent in the story. On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves has an older woman as the heroine. Or, you could read Changeless by Gail Carriger since Alexia was on the shelf before she got married to Lord Maccon who is quite old himself :)
Buddy Reads:
Pick at least one from their TBR.
Sand in Your Shorts - Pick a book that you might consider a good beach read. The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook. This is on my TBR list too.
Best Friends Day, June 8th - Select a book where friends play a large role in the story. Yes, I'm suggesting this out of order, but it could stand alone,Seduce Me at Sunrise by Lisa Kleypas. The hero and heroine grew up knowing each other. This is a great series, romantic and funny!
Bonus Pick: Not necessary but nice.
Father's Day, June 17th, because we all love a good daddy! - Recommend a book where the main character is a father or a father figure is part of the story. Here I'm going to recommend another book out of order, Hostage to Pleasure by Nalini Singh. These should probably be read in order, so start with Slave to Sensation, but if you're like me and most others that I know, you'll read these in no time and could easily get to Hostage for Pleasure cause it's book 5 in the series LOL Or how about Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor by Lisa Kleypas which is about a dad and daughter who meet a woman who owns a toy shop. Sweet story :)
