Wowza was not expecting to get emotional over the toll of a presidential campaign. Michelle sure pulls you into her story!

Listening to the thought process & what went into the presidential campaign run (which I'll admit I did not pay attention to back then) breaks my heart with how the following government has worked to dismantle those goals & reopened divides that were trying to start to heal

I can't quite decide if it's reassuring or disheartening that that toxicity & gutter politics was alive and well in the late 90s/early 00s and has really only been revived/brought more to international attention with social media *sigh*

Another sunny day & horse time in the woods listening to M'Obama on the docket for my next 3hours +/- 🤩

Feeling unrooted when visiting Africa, despite growing up feeling like it's the homeland
#relatable growing up to immigrant parents in a country I wasn't born in but it is still 'home' even if I'm not from here. The confusion is real when visiting or speaking to Irish people who ask where I'm from...yeah but which county/town/village - I have no straight answer

Time for my hairdresser apt but dunno if I'm brave enough to continue listening...tis about to get real teary.
