Thank goodness he is out of there! Damn cruelty to children was looked on as ok needed even to keep them in line. I knew this one would be a tough read grrr.

Yipheee! Back to my wonderful Mr Dickens. My goodness The workhouse or rather Hellhouse was described very well, it made me shudder at the treatment of poor Oliver. He was criminalized as soon as he was born. :(
