London, the Doggy and Me - The Truth Behind the Urban Legend

When my friend, Helen, told me a tale about a dead dog in a stolen suitcase, it seemed like the perfect inspiration for a short story. However, whilst on the underground, as thief runs off with the suitcase.

Of course, my story is a lot more elaborate and involved the addition of an aspiring actress desper...

Indie Map of the British Isles

I'm busy putting together a map of the British Isles made from the covers of indie books. It's looking pretty good so far but some areas need work.

Ireland in particular is sparse, with authors are fighting to get their books into a space somewhere near London. If you are an indie author with a connection to Great Britain or Ireland then please get in touch, especially if your books are linked to an area not yet conquered.

Interview with Phil Rowlands from Kindle Authors

Phil Rowlands, authors of and kindly interviewed me for , so I thought I'd return the favour.

What sort or advice do you offer aspiring authors?

Just do it! It's so easy to give up or make excuses to not even bother in the first place. Some aspiring authors seem to think their genre is overcrowded with writers already. The fact is there is a vast insatiable readership for every genre imaginable. View other writers within your genre as...
