I truly loved the basis of the book, a Beauty and Beast meets Phantom of the Opera style story with a faerie twist. Honestly I actually probably would have absolutely loved the book if it wasn’t loaded with a ton of filler dialogue... I mean I almost screamed when we started podcasting...
I am sure people with impeccable patience will love this book, I unfortunately read shorter books because of my incredible lack of.

Honestly, this just did not work for me. Even though this was under 100 pages I still struggled to finish it. I am also pretty sure I had no idea whatHonestly, this just did not work for me. Meh... I’m used to these being mediocre sci-fi smut but this was probably the worst in the series.

Very little happened throughout the book besides talking and sex... and then Black tried to salvage some excitement into the book at like the last 20 pages, which was easily resolved and added absolutely nothing to the story.

The only reason I rated this 3 stars was because it was free from the publisher. The story was not half bad but the editing was beyond atrocious. Wrong words, using the wrong persons names... multiple times...

I didn’t do any of those with reasonable timing this week. Therefor I end up with last minute books that may or may not be kind of be what I’m looking for...

Anyways Jake is catfishing men out of “travel� money to come see them, or course it’s all for a good cause. Dark is an overly broody dragon that’s pretty sure “Tom� (Jake) is his mate. Unfortunately Jake cons $200 from Dark and ghosts him (that’s what that’s called right? Ghosting??) Anywho Dark wants answers and goes to find Jake. Story was pretty good until there. But once Dark snatches Jake from the street and gets him to his house everything turns into that typical mediocre attempt at plot and romance..
Blah...
He had a feeling a dominant male dragon shifter like Dark had possession written in his bones, but he didn’t mind being claimed, being owned by such a splendid man.
..... being owned by such a “splendid� man.... sorry I do not want to be owned my a splendid man I want to be owned by a naughty, powerful, manly man.... not splendid.

I’ll be honest though.. I was kinda bored a majority of the time. There was a little bit of financial anxiety, which imo is the worst kind of anxiety... but other than that I just wasn’t feeling it.

This is the next best one since the first. It was hot and had quite a bit of action. I was a little disappointed that the only real drama in the book This is the next best one since the first. I would have preferred for it to have drug out a little while longer.
The price was also a little hard to swallow for such a short book...

Some Siren authors are a hit or miss for me, unfortunately this authors has always been a miss. Which makes me so sad because their plots and “situations� are what I’m always looking for in a book.

Unfortunately, I had problems understanding the writing sometime. I thought maybe it was just me until I read other reviews with the same statement. I really can’t explain the issue but I would reread a few pages, several times and things still really didn’t make sense or I didn’t understand the point that was being made�

This one was far better than the other 2, imo. Not only were the characters likable, the author used lava men.... L A V A men... seriously unique.

I have read Paax by this author and another... not sure why I never marked it read but I did enjoy led it and I look forward to seeing what else this author has. After I finish this series.

Really it was just a big info dump� I can’t remember if “Their Vampire Queen� also started this way but I really don’t think so.

As usually I love both the humor and the amazing story line, but the romance really fell flat for me� I’m the beginning I was enjoying the buildup, but it honestly seemed to just fall flat for in the in the end. Maybe I’m broken? Am I not feeling the love anymore? Sometimes I don’t mind “not feeling the love� if the smut is good but even that was meh� am I broken??
Anyways the other issue I had was the timeline. Honestly I’m not really sure it was an issue, but more a confusion on my end. I know there was an age gap of 9 years, but it was hard for me to place Hiro’s older brothers at the same age as Maddox’s nephew� I am assuming it works out since I know Ben had his first kid really early, but it through me for a loop for a bit. ...more
