Meh... is the best way to describe this book. Side note “meh� is also one of my favorite words/sounds...
The concept, as many other reviews have said, was awesome.. elemental super hero alphas with fated omega pairing... very unique imo. But again as others have said, it was poorly executed... If you are lucky enough to get past the cringe worthy names... like “Dr. Fire� and “Professor Frost�, you are left with a story that stays pretty much at the same tone and pace through out.. very flat. Don’t get me wrong, there are things that happen, accusations, sex, violence, romance and even a kidnapping... but going based on the tone and descriptions of the words used, you really wouldn’t be able to tell they were different emotionally.
These books are short so I might continue with the trilogy to see if they get better, but probably not. ...more
