It’s dark starting with a death and followed by years of intense abuse. She escaped and has been on the run and hiding from the person who was supposed to love her unconditionally. She meets Kingston and Puck (a British wolf shifter) when she works for Puck at his bar and renting the room above the bar. Kingston (the alpha of the pack) calls her Little Warrior after he meets her at his gym. She bonds with Brix who is the mercenary of the group. Ender is an asshole, but his rescue kitten, Princess, is adorable! They know she is hiding something, which makes Ender more suspicious and dickish. However, each of the boys are pulled to her as she is their fated mate. There is a lot going on in this short book, and it already punches you in the emotional gut. Each character is distinct and has their own voice. Each character is sympathetic and flawed. I love how strong Wren is as a heroine. I love how the boys are starting to become protective over her. This is first book in a trilogy and it’s already learned a lot, but there will be much more to learn. The cliffhanger is brutal and I cannot wait for the next book in the series!
The audiobook EVERYTHING! I loved how amazing the full cast was, and how fantastic Vanessa Moyen, Connor Crais, Jason Clarke, JF Harding, Teddy Hamilton, and Shane East are in their roles! Thank you to Must Love Audio for the ALC! All thoughts and opinions are my own....more

Luca goes to a small town in the Hudson Valley to find Valentina (Val), but the chemistry between them is fire! They are immediately attracted to each other, but his possessiveness and him manipulating the situation has her hesitant at first. Except that Luca has the “daddy vibes going on as he is 38 and she is 21. He wants to take care of her, which with her situation as it was, she kind of needed it! Her father, who she wants nothing to do with because he was mafia ...more

In Good Company is a billionaire, boss x private chef, ex-boyfriend’s brother romance. The Pembroke Hills is a country club in the Hamptons, and that’s where Lucy who is a chef is working. She runs into her ex’s other brother< Callahan, and he immediately interested in her. Callahan (Cal) thought his brother was an idiot for treating Lucy the way he did, and when he saw her again at the country club, he knew he needed to have her. He offered her a job as his private chef, making her an offer that was too good to pass up.
The chemistry between Cal and Lucy was intense! The pining between them was perfection! He makes her eat with him the food she cooks every night, and he helps her film her cooking videos, teaching him how to cook as she was too shy to film herself without him. They went to the farmer’s market together, and he was determined to spoil her! There were 2 couples that were hinted in the upcoming books in The Pembroke Hills series. The conflict was sad, though needed in order for Lucy and Cal to grow enough to figure out that being with each other is nonnegotiable!
I’d recommend listening to In Good Company by the pool or at the beach, because the summer vibes were fantastic! I felt like I was in the Hamptons! The audiobook was well casted, and was performed in a duet style narration by Connor Crais and Erin Mallon! I love them both, and I have will always search out books that they narrate as they always bring the characters to life!
Thank you to Kat Singleton and Valentine PR for an audio ALC. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own. And I will be reading Kat Singleton again…very soon!...more
