Yes please! Ophelia’s magic is bound and she didn’t know vampires, witches and werewolves existed. As she learned the fantastical world as she was mated to a very powerful vampire and his 3 vampire “sons, we were giving the information too! The spice was spicing, but the vampire MMCs getting all excited over her period! It was like a Christmas feast for 4 days and I laughed, a lot! The world building was good, the characters well fleshed out, and it was different enough to be enjoyable not repetitive. Forged in Blood is so addicting and a lot of fun, I downloaded the second book!...more

Both are single parents, and the way they are protective over their daughters is everything! Neither of them plan for them to each other’s daughter, but they do since Jake and Clara cannot stay away from each other. Both bond with their daughters, causing them to fall more in love with each other. Jake is a man who learn to braid hair for his daughter!
Clara is older than Jake, and she felt that she couldn’t be in a relationship. Jake didn’t want to risk his daughter getting attached to his love interest, which is why they both were initially hesitant going into a relationship past sex. However, the passion and chemistry that both had for each other bled from the pages. Both made some bad decisions, but took responsibility for them. Both did little romantic gestures as well as big ones. They had their baggage from past relationships, but were willing to do the work to be together because they wouldn’t live without each other as their love is soul deep.
The spice was good and was well balanced with the character driven plot. The characters were smart, mature, and willing to grow and change for the betterment of their relationship and themselves. All characters had their own voice and were well fleshed out. The pacing of the romance was perfect. Julia Wolf knows how to write a romance! The audiobook was fantastic! Avery Reid and James Cassidy were perfect narrating Clara and Jake. I highly recommend listening to In the Details.
Thank you to Valentine PR and Julia Wolf for an ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own....more

She met Sir Gaston De Varennes (and yes, I was singing Gaston’s song from beauty and the beast). He is arrogant and rude. He is also a knight who believed that Celine was Lady Christiane De La Fontaine, a woman that worked with her guardian to kill Gaston. So yeah, he had a right to hate Celine. He was also a product of his time. He did not believe that Celine was from the future, but why would he? If someone came up to me tell me they were from 1299 or 2300, I’d laugh at them. Anyhow, his disbelief in who Celine is and her needing to get back home because she has a bullet fragment logged in her back that could kill her at any time did not stop either their lusty gazes from each other. The banter was excellent! The romance was really good, and I enjoyed Celine’s fish out of water story and Gaston being all macho as he needed to ferret out the villain who wanted to kill him and Celine! The plot was a lot of fun and the world that Shelly Thacker created around time travel did actually work! It could have been edited down by a couple of chapters, but I would recommend Forever His!...more

She has come to his ranch in whim to live big, because she has been treated like she a heart condition, SVT. She ends up working his social media for him, because the Runaway Ranch was getting negative reviews. Someone is trying to sabotage his ranch, and Charlie definitely is very protective over Ruby. I enjoyed the suspense subplot, but the romance is fantastic! The cowboy vibe of the book is everything with the small town, the ranch setting in Montana. I love how Charlie and Ruby compliment each other, even learning to trust each other with their secrets. The writing, plotting, and character growth was well done! I’m excited for Davis’s book!...more

Sellah’s was promised to a goddess as a vessel, and she was honored by this until a thief woke her up one night. They became secret friends to forbidden lovers. On the night of their wedding, the goddess and the god of war punished them for breaking a vow that Sellah made a child by dismembering Kaid and scattering his body parts in different, evil places. With the help of a stranger, she goes to find him, piece by piece, until Kaid is whole again. She is aided in her quest, but as she does so, she yearned to be with him again. The way they love each other is EVERYTHING!! Kaid protected her at the cost of his life, and she risked her life to get him back. They loved each other beyond words. This is true romantasy, including a mortal fighting gods and an epic love story. The audiobook is impeccably narrated! I was enthralled from the first chapter and was annoyed when I had to stop listening to go to work. I loved how the author wrote the past/present chapters, which made me feel more empathetic to Sellah and Kaid. I highly recommend Scattered Bones!...more

Mia left her husband after enduring 10 years of abuse. Lorenzo’s wife died 2 years ago. He didn’t want to be attracted to Mia, but her overly chatty happy personality made it impossible. He was obsessed with her. She was traumatized from her past with her husband and his brother, which made feel weaker. The BDSM was used as healing. Lorenzo’s grief over his wife and h being attracted to Mia is the biggest conflict. There was no third act break up, but it also would have been repetitive. The character growth was good and I liked the external conflict. The story wrapped up nicely....more
