The Lost Man

The dry desolate land of the outback. A man found dead by a lone gravestone far away from his car which is fully stocked with water and food in case of emergency. He had no water on him and was searching for shade in a barren land. The little shade of the gravestone not giving him the relief his body so needed.
Harper does a terrific job exposing the landscape for what it is; as well as the descriptiveness of the hardiness of the people who survive there and the relationships they have.
Great twists and background stories. A good ole fashioned who done it, done well!

She's a great writer. I love that these stories take place down under :) Thanks Meredith

Hope you get to it soon!

It's so true. I hear you, Dana!!

Thanks Diane - I will need to take a look at that one!

Thanks Mike. Yes, I'm a fan :)

spellbinding for sure! Thanks Cheri!

Lisa, I absolutely do! And the series is good - starting with The Dry. If you like the landscape and these people who are hardened by their envirnonment, you'll enjoy it for sure.
