Nadia is puzzled. Of late she has been finding objects in the pockets of her clothes. They do not belong to her - initially insignificant things like a piece of fudge, then more esoteric things, and then something alarming. Could her friends be playing a trick on her? No one admitted to contributing to the steadily growing number of objects that keep surfacing in her pockets. It drives her to distraction. What should she do?
How did this happen? More importantly, why is this happening? What does it mean? Nadia and her friends take on different experiments to fathom the mystery. What follows is an unexpected journey into the secrets of the universe and an even more astounding world of connection, one in which people who live in words, like you and me, will love.
Thank you, Cecily, for introducing me to this story and El-Mohtar.

There must be so many gems that we never hear about ... Sigh...

You remind me of something Paul did to me once.
One day I go out to my car to drive somewhere and a dollar bill slips out of shade above the steering wheel. Later I find another dollar bill tucked into the over- head sunglass case.
For days -I find a one dollar bills in every little nick and cranny in that car.
Another time it was quarters - about twenty dollars worth
Moral of his story to me: haha ..... make sure you have extra little cash & coins handy. You just never know!
Thanks again - sounds like a little gem 💎."
Ah, Elyse, you have a sweet hubby. :-) I hope you now have extra money on hand in the car. Yes, this story is a bit like that and more. Fast read - only 7 pages.
