Of all the absurdity in this book, that was what bothered me the most! Your review is too funny.

The Cambridge thing bothered me so much too - even more than tossing the vial that is going to form the basis of her “dissertation� back into the Thames. There wasn’t even a mention of “if I get accepted.�
Did she even have a laptop with her or did she apply to Cambridge in one night on her phone?

YES! This bothered me so much! Like you could submit an advanced degree application in a day! Also, echoing what other have said, why throw the vial?! UGH!
Or Interpol, given how Caroline solved a 200 year old crime in 3 days.
