this was a cozy, sweet, fun read! very much lacking in the zombies though - but that's on me for having high hopes, i knew going in that it wouldn't be a survival/post-apocalyptic story (but a girl can dream).
light and fluffy, heartwarming to the max, and i loved hart's obsession with mercy. entertaining for sure! plus adorable family dynamics and hilarious talking animals. cute!

youre so fast!! glad ure enjoying this one. i found the first half of the book a bit flat, maybe bc there werent much hart and mercys interaction that it bores me a bit. i hope i get to enjoy them more in the latter of the book.
