A young woman with no job and blacklisted has a maid is forced to become a mistress, so she is sent to a widowed man for training. Let's hope he keeps her for himself!!

I don't see any difference in the shelves just on the home page the button for "read" has changed.

HAHA, no. It just takes place in the late 1800's but there's modern "experiences" in the bedroom :)

I finished it last night, and I didn't want it to end. I so could have did it in one sitting if I never had real life to deal with lol.

You're welcome! Hope you like it. Let me know how it goes. :)

Carob Wrote: "What do you all think of the new Shelf format for books?"

I don't know, it looks a little weird. Doesn't seem to go with the rest of the site's design. But other than that, it's okay. It's nice to have all the shelves pop up with one click of the "Want To Read" button.

How about you? What do you think?

message 1676: by °¾±³Ùâ˜ (new)

°¾±³Ù★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments I didn't like it at first, because of what you said, it doesn't match the rest of the site, the colors don't match and everything. But I do really like how now I can shelve the book on all the appropriate shelves right there from the drop down menu instead of having to go in and edit the review after I mark it.

That is a really great new feature. Another one I really like, not associated with the new buttons, are the GR email alerts whenever a book on the TBR shelf is newly released. Have you gotten one of those yet? It's awesome not to have to keep a list in order to remember what is coming out when.

message 1678: by °¾±³Ùâ˜ (new)

°¾±³Ù★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments That's cool. I only use my actual to-read shelf for ones I own though, all the ones not released yet that look good go on either wishlist or to-ponder, so they probably won't send me any, but that's awesome that they did that! Now if only they'd fix it so you can keep track of re-reads, b/c I tend to re-read books a lot lol. :D

I agree, I thought it looked a little out-of-sync with all the neutral colours on the site, but loving the convenience..

I'm the same as you °¾±³Ùâ˜, I only use the Want to Read shelf for books I actually own. Otherwise I have a "to-get" and a "contemplating" shelf. Helps me keep track of which shelf to go to for my next book :-)

°¾±³Ù★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments Over in the GR Feedback group though people are like freaking out over it! I peek in on the thread about it every now and then and everyone is so negative. I don't mind the button one bit.

I just finished Promises Reveal (Promises, #4) by Sarah McCarty and liked it way better than I was expecting! It was pretty good, and I really liked the hot steam level, it was lovely ;)
Not sure what to read next yet, I'm still enjoying the happy book buzz from that last one.

Some people don't like change .I've seen it in a lot of websites or in real life. they fight with anything that disturbs their routine .
I don't mind the change either

I need to read that one. Thinking of starting the series over just to get to that one...since my library has it on audio. Of course, someone said they didn't like the narrator...but, sometimes my tastes are different.
